School Management in Improving Student Character Education (Case Study at Annida Tahfizhul Qur'an Middle School)

School management is the management of education in schools to achieve the goals that have been set. This Research aims to find out how school management improves student character education. This Research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, where data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and students at Tahfizhul Qur'an Annida Middle School. Data analysis is done by sorting the data obtained, then analyzing it and drawing conclusions. The results of this Research are: (1) school management planning in character education is expressed through the school's vision, mission, and learning in teaching materials and activities at school; (2). Implementation of character education in schools through Integration in learning and extracurricular activities, the habituation of good character by all school elements, providing good examples and role models, and creating an atmosphere of character in schools (3). Evaluation of character education in schools through student personality reports and joint assessments with teachers and parents.

The Tilawah and Qira’ah Efforts to Improve Understanding and Practice of Reading the Qur’an

Al-Qur'an education plays an important role in forming character, increasing knowledge and religious skills of children. The aim of this research is to examine the application of the concepts of recitation and qira'ah in Al-Qur'an education as an effort to improve understanding and practice of reading the Al-Qur'an. The problem raised is how Al-Qur'an education can guide children to read fluently, correctly, and understand the meaning contained in it. The method used is a literature study by examining various relevant sources regarding the theory and practice of recitations and qira'ah in Islamic education. The results of this research show that recitations and qira'ah are not just reading skills, but also a means to understand and practice the teachings of the Qur'an in everyday life. Learning that involves both can develop good social behavior, strengthen character, and increase children's closeness to Islamic teachings. In this way, it is hoped that Al-Qur'an education will be able to produce a generation that is not only skilled at reading, but also has noble morals.

Mapping of Learning Outcomes and Teaching Materials for Islamic Education and Character Development in the Element of Fiqh in the Merdeka Curriculum

Differences in views between fiqh madhhabs often trigger debates, both in society and academia. Not infrequently, these differences lead to serious conflicts. This study aims to map the learning outcomes and teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Budi Pekerti, especially the Fiqh element in the Merdeka Curriculum, based on the opinions of the madhhabs. This research seeks to identify which madzhab is most dominantly used in teaching materials, as well as provide convenience for educators in designing learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of students and the applicable curriculum. The research method used is a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. The results show that PAI teaching materials in the Merdeka Curriculum are mapped by referring to the opinions of one particular madhhab, although in some parts other madhhab views are found. This finding is expected to be a reference for educators in developing inclusive and contextual learning strategies.

The Effect of Mastery of Information and Technology (IT) and Islamic Work Culture on Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Mastery of Technology and Information (IT) and Work Culture on Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach. Data collection in this study the author obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study amounted to 61 teachers. Then the sample in this study was 38 teachers who were taken randomly. The data analysis technique that the author did was the classic assumption test in the form of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test. Then the final data analysis the author uses is multiple linear regression analysis, F test, and determination test. The results showed that 1) there was an influence of Mastery of Technology and Information (IT) on Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi with a linear regression equation Y = 22.011 + 0.655X1 and the influence of Mastery of Technology and Information (IT) of 65.5%; 2) there is an influence of Work Culture on Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi with a linear regression equation Y = 22.011 + 0.548X2 and the influence of Work Culture is 54.8%, and 3) there is a joint influence between Mastery of Technology and Information (IT) (X1) and Work Culture (X2) on Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi (Y) where the value of Fcount>FTable or 47, 501>3.25 with the regression equation Y = 22.011 + 0.655X1 + 0.548X2, the Coefficient of Determination R2 (R Square) of 0.731 which means that Mastery of Technology and Information (IT) and Work Culture are able to influence Teacher Performance at SMAN 4 Bukittinggi with an influence of 73.1%.

The Concept of Islamic Education Ethics in the Puspakerma Text from Ferdinand De Saussure's Semiotic Theory Perspective

This study aims to explore the concept of Islamic education ethics in the Puspakerme manuscript from the perspective of Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic theory. The type of research used is library research using a semiotic approach. The primary data source in this study is; translated books of the Puspakerma manuscript. The data analysis used is content analysis and semiotics. The results of the study indicate that the concept of Islamic education ethics in the Puspakerma Manuscript is based on three types of concepts, namely; First, the concept of Islamic education ethics which is theocentric or self-serving to God Almighty and the Prophet Muhammad SAW the beloved of Allah, because of this attitude, faith , knowledge and charity are formed for the salvation of the world and the hereafter ; Second, it is anthropocentric which is divided into three parts, namely; Family ethics, teacher and student ethics, and community ethics; Third, it is cosmocentric. This ethical concept is divided into three parts, the same as anthropocentric ethics. The three parts in question are; ethics towards nature, ethics towards animals, and ethics towards plants.

Madrasah Independent Curriculum in the Era of Society 5.0 (Case Study of KMA RI Policy No. 347 of 2022 at MTs Muhammadiyah Al-Muhajirin Gunung Kidul)

This research is a case study that aims to analyze the implementation of the Madrasah Merdeka Curriculum (KMM) at MTs Muhammadiyah Al-Muhajirin Gunung Kidul in the context of the policy of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 347 of 2022 and the dynamics of the Society 5.0 era. The reason for raising this theme is the need for educational institutions, especially madrasah, to be able to adapt to educational transformations that emphasize strengthening character, digital skills, and response to social change. This study aims to describe the process of design, implementation, and evaluation of KMM carried out by MTs Muhammadiyah Al-Muhajirin, as well as the extent to which these practices are aligned with applicable national policies. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews with key informants, and analysis of official documents related to KMA RI guidelines No. 347 of 2022. The results showed that the implementation of KMM at MTs Muhammadiyah Al-Muhajirin has reflected most of the principles and guidelines of KMA RI No. 347 of 2022 in daily learning activities, although there are still challenges in terms of technology integration and overall strengthening of student character, and the implementation of KMM has a positive impact on the development of student competencies, especially in critical thinking skills, collaboration, and technology utilization in accordance with the demands of the Society 5.0 era. These findings have significance as a strategic reference for other madrasahs in developing and implementing curriculum policies that are adaptive and contextual to the times.

Application of Information Technology in Integrated Quality Management of Islamic Education at MIS Ashhabul Qur’an Bukittinggi

This study aims to analyze the application of information technology in integrated quality management of Islamic education at MIS Ashhabul Qur'an Bukittinggi. Using descriptive qualitative research methods and a case study approach, this research explores how information technology is integrated in various aspects of educational management, such as student data management, the learning process, and communication between schools and parents. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation and documentation studies involving the school, teachers, administrative staff and parents. The results showed that the application of information technology at MIS Ashhabul Qur'an Bukittinggi has brought positive impacts in improving administrative efficiency, enriching the learning process, and facilitating communication between the school and parents. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, teachers' readiness to operate technology and resistance to change are still obstacles that need to be overcome. This study recommends the importance of continuous training for teachers, updating technology devices and improving infrastructure facilities to ensure a more optimal implementation of technology. The application of information technology in this school can serve as an example for other Islamic education institutions to improve the quality of education management in order to achieve better education quality.

Internalization of Muhasabah-Based Diversity in Improving Spiritual Intelligence (Case Study at SMAN 2 North Cikarang)

This research reveals that attention to aspects of religious behavior in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is still lacking, with more focus on cognitive aspects. This research aims to determine: 1) The muhasabah-based religious habituation method program at SMAN 2 Cikarang Utara, 2) The condition of students' spiritual intelligence, and 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for its implementation.

The research uses a qualitative approach with case study and analytical descriptive methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results show that the muhasabah method involves group prayer, Duha prayer, recitation of the Koran, lectures, and social activities to shape character. Students' spiritual intelligence is generally good, influenced by family support and personal motivation, but hampered by lack of family communication, negative environmental influences, and minimal understanding of religion.

Supporting factors include school leadership, quality of teaching, positive environment, and family support. Inhibiting factors include lack of motivation, family support, and negative environmental influences. Collaboration between schools, families and communities is needed to overcome obstacles and increase students' spiritual intelligence.

Portrait of Religious Identity of High School Students: A Comparative Gender Study of First-Year Students in Sungai Penuh City

This study aims to analyze the differences in religious identity among high school students based on gender in Sungai Penuh City. Religious identity is acrucial aspect in shaping students' character, encompassing dimensions of belief, religious practices, and moral values. The focus of this study is to describe how male and female students understand and practice religious values, as well as the factors influencing these differences. This research employs a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to first-year high school students. Data analysis was conducted to evaluate gender differences in terms of religiosity. The findings indicate that female students exhibit a higher level of religious identity compared to male students. This result reflects a greater involvement of females in religious practices, both in school and community-based activities. Social and cultural factors, such as gender roles in societal norms, significantly influence these differences. The implications of this study highlight the need for a more inclusive approach in religious education to address the needs of both male and female students. Additionally, this study contributes to the development of a religious education curriculum that is relevant to local contexts and gender differences.

Implementing Religious Moderation in Learning: Teachers' Steps to Foster Tolerance and Harmonization in a Multicultural School Environment

This study aims to analyze the differences in religious identity among high school students based on gender in Sungai Banyak City. Religious identity is a crucial aspect in shaping students' character, encompassing dimensions of belief, religious practices, and moral values. The focus of this study is to describe how male and female students understand and practice religious values, as well as the factors influencing these differences. This research employs a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique. The sample consists of 1248 first-year high school students selected randomly from a population of 167 students. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the students. Data analysis was conducted using [statistical analysis method, eg, t-test, ANOVA, etc.] to evaluate gender differences in religiosity, as well as to test the statistical significance of the findings. The findings indicate that female students exhibit a higher level of religious identity compared to male students. This result reflects a greater involvement of females in religious practices, both in school and in community-based activities. However, this difference is statistically significant, with a p-value < 0.05, indicating that gender has a significant effect on students' religious identity. Social and cultural factors, such as gender roles in societal norms, play a significant role in shaping these differences. The implications of this study emphasize the need for a more inclusive approach in religious education to accommodate the needs of both male and female students in a balanced manner. Additionally, this study contributes to the development of a religious education curriculum that is relevant to local contexts and gender differences.
