In response to these challenges, they develop various coping strategies to manage issues and regulate their emotional state. This study aims to investigate the challenges and pressures faced by young Muslim individuals, as well as the coping strategies they employ. This research used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data for this study were obtained through interviews conducted with 21 young Muslim individuals (8 males and 13 females). The interview data were subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that young Muslims experience three main stress-inducing issues: personal problems, family issues, and financial difficulties. In tackling these challenges, they adopt diverse stress coping strategies. These coping strategies encompass religious and non-religious approaches that effectively help them manage stress. However, the research also identifies maladaptive coping strategies that do not assist them in effectively dealing with stress. Overall, this study provides insights into how young Muslims confront and respond to the pressures they encounter during the transition from adolescence to adulthood, offering strategic implications for improved psychological interventions and support.
2025-01-21T17:05:56+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://e-journal.iainptk.ac.id/index.php/as-syamil/article/view/3278Strategi Berbasis Bimbingan Konseling dalam Mengatasi Keterlibatan Santri Bermain Judi Online2025-01-21T17:17:08+00:00Ahmad Putrapratamaahmad954@gmail.com
Online gambling is currently a serious scourge that is affecting various groups of people. The need for an approach that integrates spiritual and cultural values is increasing in the contemporary era. Islam-based logotherapy offers an approach that blends logotherapy principles with Islamic values and teachings, which provides a strong spiritual foundation for individuals in their search for the meaning of life. This approach emphasizes the importance of faith, hope and love as sources of strength in facing life's challenges. Through this integration, Islam-based logotherapy can provide a relevant and effective alternative in the context of an increasingly pluralistic and complex modern society. This research aims to explore the concept and application of Islam-based logotherapy and its benefits in supporting the mental and spiritual health of individuals in the contemporary era. The method used in this research is literature review. The results showed that this approach can enhance psychological well-being by connecting individuals to spiritual values and a greater purpose in life, as well as building resilience in the face of the pressures of modern life. The result of this research is a finding of the Islamic Logotherapy Tree concept scheme which is a theoretical contribution to the stages in implementing logotherapy integrated with Islamic values and organized based on a tree scheme.
2025-01-21T17:11:26+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://e-journal.iainptk.ac.id/index.php/as-syamil/article/view/3140Cognitive Restructuring Techniques in Increasing Self-Confidence of Body Shaming Victims Shaming Student of SMK N 8 Pontianak2025-01-21T17:17:08+00:00Nur Aininurainitede37@gmail.comDesi Puji Lestaridpujilestari572@gmail.comHesty Nur Rahmihestynurrahmi@iainptk.ac.id
Body shaming is a phenomenon that many women experience because they do not meet beauty standards. The formulation of the research problem is: how to uncover the internalization of Islamic values through multicultural counseling guidance in taboo. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, where the data is obtained through field research because the object of study is socio-cultural which is devoted to taboo collection. The steps taken are to record or document taboos that are still remembered and practiced by the community, classify taboos that contain Islamic values and interpret taboos in accordance with Islamic values which include aqidah, sharia and morals. The results of the study show that the internalization of the value of aqidah through the guidance of multicultural counseling in taboos includes all taboos, both explicit and implicit, all of which boil down to the relationship with the Creator, as seen in the taboo of burning the remaining rice stalks or rapun, the taboo of wandering around during maghrib, and the taboo of stepping over the Qur'an. The internalization of sharia values through multicultural counseling in taboos, which is a rule that builds human relationships with other humans and the universe, can be seen in the prohibition that wood must not be damaged, animals must not be killed, and fathers-to-be must not kill animals. Internalization of moral values through the guidance of multicultural counseling in taboos, seen in taboos, it is not allowed to eat while lying down later to become lazy, it is not allowed to eat messy later when the rice is crying, and it is forbidden to hit with a broom. As a result, taboos have become a culture in society as a character formation for individuals from generation to generation through telling and example.
2025-01-21T17:13:43+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
