<p><em>Critical thinking is one of the essential skills that must be nurtured from the early stages of formal education, especially in responding to the increasing complexity of information flow. In practice, however, elementary school students often struggle to analyze problems, construct logical reasoning, and draw conclusions from given information. This study aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking skills by implementing a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with video media in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a quantitative approach, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 30 fourth-grade students at SDN 03 Pontianak Timur. Data were collected through critical thinking tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results indicated an increase in mastery from 27% in the pre-action stage, to 60% in Cycle I, and reaching 83% in Cycle II. The implementation of PBL supported by video media proved effective in fostering students’ active engagement and gradually strengthening their critical thinking abilities. </em></p>Dewi LestariFirdaus AchmadVidya Setyaningrum

<p><em>The aim of this research is to describe the strengthening of the Pancasila learner profile using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model with the good and bad list type in Pancasila education, specifically in the topic of obeying school rules for grade II learners at State Elementary School 03 East Pontianak in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data source for this research is the grade II B teacher at State Elementary School 03 East Pontianak. Based on the analysis conducted, the researcher concludes that: The planning carried out by the grade II B teacher aligns with the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model of the good and bad list type, which includes a teaching module, reinforcement of the Pancasila learner profile, and planning within the learner worksheet (LKPD); The implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model of the good and bad list type has enabled the teacher to successfully deliver lessons that not only teach the material on obeying rules but also shape learners’ character in accordance with Pancasila values; The evaluation process is in accordance with the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model of the good and bad list type and includes aspects of affective assessment. <p><em>This study aims to determine the effect of using Powtoon-based video learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in grade IV at SDN 39 Pontianak. The research design used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study consisted of 53 students, comprising class IVA as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class. The independent variable in this study was the use of Powtoon-based video learning media, and the dependent variable was science learning outcomes. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students after using Powtoon-based video learning media in the experimental class increased, with a pretest average score of 48.80 and a posttest average score of 78.04. 4) Based on the results of the independent sample t-test for the experimental class, a significant value of 0.039 < 0.05 was obtained. Thus, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was an effect on the use of Powtoon-based video learning media on student learning outcomes in the subject of Earth's gravitational force in grade IV at SDN 39 Pontianak.</em></p>Heny Endang WahyuniZulkarnainRoikhatul Janah

<p>This study describes the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model in the Civics Education learning of the topic "Obeying Rules in My Surroundings" in Class II A of State Elementary School 03 Pontianak Timur for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with a purposive sample of the class teacher and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results indicate that (1) the lesson planning includes the creation of teaching modules that emphasize the importance of obeying rules and the values contained within; (2) the implementation of the lessons conducted by the teacher strengthens the Pancasila student profile dimension of critical thinking through the Value Clarification Technique (VCT), helping students recognize behavioral values through Pancasila education; and (3) evaluation is carried out using Student Work Sheets (LKPD) which facilitate reflection and assessment of students' ability to identify behavioral values.</p>Soma TriharyosoMaha Lastasa Buju Basafpipana HabaridotaSyarifah Asmiati

<p><em>Authentic assessment in thematic learning in primary schools is an important approach to assessing students’ competencies thoroughly, not only on cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor. This assessment is relevant to Curriculum 2013 as it focuses on real tasks that reflect the application of knowledge and skills in everyday life. This research aims to describe the implementation of authentic assessment and identify challenges in its application in primary schools through a literature study. The method used was a literature study with an inductive approach, referring to relevant books, journals and online sources. The results of the study show that the implementation of authentic assessment has been running quite well with the use of various techniques such as portfolios, projects, observations, and written tests. However, the implementation still faces obstacles, such as time constraints, format complexity, and teachers’ lack of understanding of the concepts and techniques of authentic assessment. Therefore, continuous training and format simplification are needed so that authentic assessment can be implemented optimally and effectively in supporting meaningful learning.</em></p>M.
