Efektivitas Metode Bernyanyi terhadap Kemampuan Menghafal Mufrodat pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Arab bagi Siswa Kelas IVa SD Muhammadiyah 01 Pontianak

The background of this study is the ability to memorize students who are still low so it needs to be improved. The purpose of this study are: 1) to determine the ability to memorize kosa kata students before using the method of singing in Arabic class Class 4A elementary school Muhammadiyah 01 Pontianak. 2) to determine the ability to memorize kosa kata students after using the method of singing in Arabic subjects class grade 4A elementary school Muhammadiyah 01 Pontianak. 3) to determine the effectiveness of the singing method on the ability to memorize kosa kata students in Arabic class Class 4A elementary school Muhammadiyah 01 Pontianak. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods. Experimental design used in this study including Pre Experimental Design with the type of design used is one group Pretest Posttest Design. Data collection techniques used in this study are: 1) observation, 2) Tests, and 3) documentation. Data analysis techniques used, namely: descriptive statistics and N-Gain Score test. The results of this study showed that the use of singing methods can affect the ability to memorize kosa kata learners in Arabic subjects evidenced by the average memorization ability of students before the use of singing methods by 22.86, then there is an increase after the use of singing methods by 85.24. As well as the ability to memorize learners can be categorized as effective because it is in the interval >76. It is proved that the test results N-Gain Score on N-Gain percent obtained a mean score of 80.2627.
