Abstract

This research is a field study conducted at Abdullah Islamic University, Gersik. This research was conducted to analyze the phonological problems faced by students majoring in Arabic Language Education while learning Arabic. This research contributes to the development of Arabic language learning for foreign speakers by analyzing these problems and providing practical solutions and encouraging to improve pronunciation skills, phonetics, and deepen cultural understanding. The research method used in this study is qualitative, focusing on actual phenomena and students' personal experiences. This study concludes that students majoring in Arabic Language Education at Abdullah Islamic University, Gerssik, as foreign speakers, face phonological problems in learning Arabic. These difficulties, which are linguistic obstacles for Arabic learners, can vary in difficulty from one individual to another based on linguistic, personal, and educational factors.
