Penerapan Media Audio Visual untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosa Kata Siswa Kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul-Ulum Al-Machtumiyah

The background of this research is to improve students' vocabulary (mufrodat), which still needs significant enhancement. The objectives of this study are: 1) To identify the planning of Arabic language learning by implementing audiovisual media in the teaching of maharah istima’ to enhance vocabulary mastery among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mamba’ul-Ulum Al-Machtumiyah, Kubu Raya. 2) To examine the implementation of audiovisual media in maharah istima’ learning to improve vocabulary mastery among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mamba’ul-Ulum Al-Machtumiyah, Kubu Raya. 3) To evaluate the results of the application of audiovisual media in maharah istima’ learning to enhance vocabulary mastery among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mamba’ul-Ulum Al-Machtumiyah, Kubu Raya. This study employs a classroom action research (CAR) methodology. The data sources in this research consist of primary and secondary sources. The data collection techniques used in this study include: 1) Observation, 2) Documentation, and 3) Tests. The findings of this study indicate an improvement in vocabulary mastery, as evidenced by an increase in students' average scores. Before the use of audiovisual media, the vocabulary mastery level of fifth-grade students was 57%, with an average score of 68.78. After implementing audiovisual media, there was an increase to 85%, with an average score of 90.64.
