Islam and Social Science Review (ISSR) is a reputable international scholarly journal committed to maintaining rigorous academic standards through a double-blind peer-review process and an open-access publishing model. ISSR is dedicated to disseminating high-quality scholarly works that advance interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of Islamic studies and the social sciences. To ensure academic rigor and publication quality, manuscripts considered for publication are required to undergo at least three rounds of peer review before being accepted for publication.

ISSR provides an academic platform for the advancement of interdisciplinary scholarship that examines the relationship between Islamic values, institutions, intellectual traditions, and contemporary social realities. The journal brings together perspectives from sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, communication, education, development studies, and related disciplines , thereby encouraging broader and more integrated approaches to understanding Islam within diverse social contexts.

With a strong emphasis on methodological rigor, theoretical significance, scholarly originality, and practical relevance , ISSR welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and systematic literature reviews . Contributions are expected to demonstrate scientific novelty, offer meaningful theoretical or empirical insights, and enrich global academic discourse through comparative, cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, or policy-relevant perspectives.
