Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are very important basic skills for every student that can be useful for everyday life. Based on the research results, it is known that the literacy and numeracy competencies of students in Indonesia are still very low. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology) through the independent campus learning policy (MBKM) created a program, namely the teaching campus, which teaches students to contribute to efforts to improve the literacy and numeracy learning of students in Indonesia, especially for elementary school, junior high school and vocational high school students. Teaching campus students are assigned directly to the schools where they live and whose literacy and numeracy skills are still low according to data from the local education office to help the school, become teacher partners and collaborate with teachers at the assigned school and help the participants. students according to school conditions and students' needs. Apart from that, teaching campus students also guide grade 5 (five) students in implementing the student AKM to measure the extent of students' literacy and numeracy abilities. The aim of this teaching campus is so that students can collaborate with teachers at assigned schools, students can study outside the campus environment and be directly involved in seeing conditions at the school and helping students improve literacy and numeracy as well as adapting to technology.
