Peer Review Process

Each manuscript that has been submitted will be subjected to a selection process with the following criteria:

  • Each submitted manuscript will be checked for the authenticity or originality of its contributions in fields that are in accordance with the scope, grammar, and format of writing the Journal as well as the reliability of the methodology and theoretical concepts in accordance with the topic and analysis.
  • The editor will check the suitability of the scope and originality of the contribution and any manuscripts that are not in accordance with the scope will be notified of the refusal of publication to the author via email.
  • The originality of the contribution is also carried out through a similarity check using Plagiarism Detector X and a maximum of 25% of the allowed similarities can be processed to the review stage and informed of the rejection of publication to the author via email and OJS author.
  • At the next stage, the section editor will check, if there is a discrepancy and inconsistency in the format with the latest JPMM journal, a rejection of publication will be made and the author will be informed of the rejection of publication via email.
  • Checking the reliability of the methodology and theoretical concepts that are in accordance with the topic and analysis will be carried out by a reviewer who has been appointed by the editor.
  • The principle of selecting reviewers for each manuscript is that the reviewer's track record has at least been an author in an accredited scientific journal with topics relevant to the topic of the manuscript.
  • The review process uses the blind review method which involves at least one reviewer who has been determined by the editor, if between reviewers there is a conflicting decision, an additional reviewer will be allocated to provide an assessment.
  • Each review process by a reviewer will be carried out a maximum of 5 (five) weeks from the time the reviewer's willingness has been appointed.
