In general, the Tahlilan tradition is a religious ceremony to pray for the people who preceded it and preserve traditions passed down from generation to generation. This tradition cannot be separated from the acculturation process between religion and culture which contains local wisdom. The aim of the research is to determine the application of tahlilan in seeking social balance and the value of Islamic education in Arang Limbung village. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique first examines the problem as a whole, then interprets the data and adapts it to theory, and finally makes all the research findings. The results of research on the tahlilan tradition in maintaining social balance and maintaining the values ??of Islamic education are the introduction of the tahlil tradition in the Arang Limbung village community which is often held at the time of Maghrib or Isha. The tahlilan event begins when a large number of invitations have come and it is deemed sufficient, and this tradition is usually carried out with the practice of reading the Koran and dhikr. The Tahlilan tradition has social and Islamic educational values ??such as the value of helping, the value of solidarity, the value of harmony, the value of friendship as Muslim brotherhood, the value of empathy, the value of social welfare, the value of harmony, the value of closeness to Allah, the priority of dzikrulmaut (remembering death), and dhikrullah (knowing the remembrance of Allah SWT)
