Penanaman Nilai Religusitas Siswa Melalui Pembiasaan Sholat Dhuha Dan Dzuhur Bersama
Abstract
Recently, the morals of students in schools have been declining, as evidenced by the increasing frequency of various negative behaviors. Examples of this moral decline include rising disrespect towards teachers, a lack of responsibility for assignments, bullying among peers, and a decrease in concern for social norms and discipline in the school environment. Several factors contribute to this decline in student morals. First, there is a lack of supervision and parental involvement in shaping children’s character. Second, the negative influence of social media and the internet, which is often unfiltered. Third, there is a weak implementation of moral and ethical values in schools, as well as a lack of role models in the surrounding environment. Additionally, unhealthy peer interactions and pressure from friends also contribute to students' moral decline. This situation requires serious attention to rebuild students' character and ethics. Instilling moral values in students is crucial for developing good and responsible character. One effective way to achieve this is by integrating religious values into their school life. Through the habituation of religious activities, such as congregational prayers and reading the Quran, students can develop more disciplined, empathetic, and ethical attitudes. This research is conducted to understand the importance of instilling religious values in students at SMP Negeri 37 Surabaya, implemented through the activities of congregational Shalat Duha and Dzuhur. The study aims to examine the impact of these religious activities on students' character development, morals, and spiritual attitudes at school.
