Author guidelines

Instructions for Contributors Submissions:

  1. The submitted manuscript is an original work and has never been published or is in the process of publication in other journals.
  2. It can be conceptual studies, an excerpt of research, including empirical research and theory relevant to Islamic affiliated educational institutions. The topics of the journal cover the micro, meso, and macro levels of Islamic education.
  3. It is written in Arabic/English in accordance with the standard of scientific papers;
  4. The length of the manuscript is between 4000 to 8000 words; A4 size paper with 1.5 spacing, using Garamond Style font and font size 12; including pictures, graphs, and tables (if any).
  5. The manuscript is submitted through the website of Arfannur Journal of Islamic Education by first logging into the system; or by sending it as an e-mail attachment in the Microsoft word format which is addressed to the editorial board at journal arfannurpascasarjana@gmail.com
  6. Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word article template manuscript

Style: 

  1. Submitted manuscript must include title, author name, abstract in English, and keywords;
  2. Abstract is written briefly, concisely and clearly, between 150-200 words that reflect: the problem (Issue), theory or supposed condition (Rule), argument or analysis (Argument), and Conclusion;
  3. Keywords can be words or phrases, a maximum of 5;
  4. Parts of article consists of: (A) Introduction, (B) Method, (C) Findings and Discussion, (D) Conclusion.
  5. For the following citations of the same source, list the author’s last name, two or three words of the title, and the specific page number(s)
  6. Referencecontains reference sources written alphabetically and chronologically, Referral sources are published literature in the last 10 years (especially of the journal). Referral preferred are the primary sources in the form of books, reports (including dissertation), or research articles in scientific journals and magazines. It is suggested to use Mendeley or Zotero as a reference manager at styling the citations and the bibliography.
