The AlBanna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini published its first issue on April 21, 2021. It received a publication permit for E-ISSN No. 3024-9449 from the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences on August 29, 2023. The journal is published biannually (in June and December) by the Program Studi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini at the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Pontianak. It aims to provide a forum for discussing issues and exchanging information and ideas related to research and practice in the field of children’s education within Muslim society. The journal features original research on children’s education in Muslim communities worldwide. Its primary focus embraces a broad definition of education that includes parenting and adopts a multidisciplinary approach, covering related fields such as Islamic studies, psychology, sociology, child health, and social work. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: children’s education from an Islamic perspective; children’s relationships with family and the Muslim community; cross-cultural education for children; innovation and technology in children’s education; educational environment, curriculum, and assessment; and child growth and development.
