March 5, 2020: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has been indexed by Moraref.

March 27, 2020: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has obtained a publication permit for E-ISSN No. 2721-5040 and P-ISSN No. 2721-5032 from the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation, Indonesian Institute of Sciences.

September 10, 2020: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has been indexed by Garuda.

February 1, 2022: Starting with Vol. 3, No. 1, 2022, the Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has published all its manuscripts in either English or Arabic.

January 9, 2023: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has established an agreement with William S. Hein & Co., Inc. to be indexed by HeinOnline.

January 28, 2023: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with accreditation No. 225/E/KPT/2022 with a predicate of Sinta 4. This accreditation is effective from publication Vol. 1, No 2, 2020.

February 10, 2023: The Journal of Islamic Law (JIL) has established an agreement with Asosiasi Dosen Hukum Keluarga Islam (ADHKI) Indonesia.
