Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. The article should be formatted according to the pattern of academic journal writing.

2. Use Mendeley with the American Psychological Association 6th Edition (APA Style) + page numbers manually.

3. The article must be an original work (no plagiarism) and has not been published in any print/online journal, as evidenced by a plagiarism check.

4. During the review and editing process, or after the article is published, it must not be registered with any other journal.

5. Submit the article via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) Submission at http://e-journal.iainptk.ac.id/index.php/j-md/about/submissions.

6. The article should be typed in Garamond font (12 pt) with 1.5 line spacing in Microsoft Word format on A4 size pages (210 x 297 mm). The length of the article should be between 4000-6000 words.

7. The article may be written in Indonesian or English, adhering to proper grammar rules. Generally, English articles should use the past tense.

SPECIAL GUIDELINES

1. Articles submitted can be conceptual (literature) or empirical research on Dawah Management Studies specifically covering: Dawah Strategies, Dawah Administration, Hajj and Umrah Management, ZISWAF Management, Mosque Management, Event Organizer Management, and Islamic Institutional Management.

2. Conceptual articles should use the following structure: Introduction, Content or Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

3. Empirical research articles must use the IMRAD structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion.

4. Since the journal uses a "Blind Review" system for publication, authors should not include their names, institutional affiliations, or email addresses on the article cover.

5. Author names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses should be provided during registration (Register) on the OJS author system.

6. Authors must include communication details, such as an active mobile phone number.

7. Title: a) The title should be a concise, clear, and brief summary of the discussion content. Creative and engaging titles are encouraged (maximum of 12 words). b) The title should be written in both English and Indonesian. c) The title should be in bold and capitalized.

8. Abstract: Should be presented concisely and clearly, including: Background, Problem, Objective, Method/Approach, and Findings. The abstract should be written in one paragraph with single spacing, up to 250 words.
Keywords: Should include core terms in the research, potentially derived from research variables, subject characteristics, and reference theories (maximum of four words or combinations).

9. Introduction: Should include background information, research objectives and benefits, and theoretical review.

10. Content or Discussion: Should include an explanation of key points and research results in relation to previous research findings, analyzed critically and related to current relevant literature.

11. Results: Should include data, assumption test results, and hypothesis test results presented sequentially or integratively and analyzed critically.

12. Conclusion: Should summarize the research objectives in a concise, clear, and compact manner based on the results and discussion, presented in paragraph form (not numerically).

13. Foreign and regional language terms not standardized in the Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) should be italicized; Arabic text should be written in Traditional Arabic font size 14 pt, while Arabic terms should be transliterated using Times New Roman in italics.

14. The journal only accepts article submissions via online submissions (OJS).

15. References: Should list sources alphabetically. The minimum number of references is 15, with 40% from academic journals.

16. Citations and bibliography style should be automatically managed using a Reference Manager, such as Mendeley in APA 6th Edition style.
