Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of using Canva-based educational video media on students’ learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically regarding the perimeter of two-dimensional shapes, for fifth-grade students at SDN 39 Pontianak. This study employed a quasi-experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved instrument validation, descriptive statistical analysis, and prerequisite tests. The results of the study indicate that based on the results of the independent samples t-test for the experimental class, a significant value of 0.020 < 0.05 was obtained. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that the use of Canva-based educational video media has a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes in fifth-grade at SDN 39 Pontianak.
