About the Journal

Journal of Islamic Educational Research and Thought (JRTIE) focuses on Islamic education in schools or madrasahs, encompassing the curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular aspects of Islamic education. Its scope includes: 1) Foundations and Objectives, 2) Students, 3) Educators, 4) Teaching and Learning, 5) Materials and Curriculum, 6) Methods, 7) Media, 8) Evaluation, and 9) Learning Environment. In addition, JRTIE welcomes research or ideas on Islamic education applied at home and in the community, as long as they are relevant to JRTIE's focus and scope.

JRTIE serves as a platform for the dissemination of scholarly thoughts and research by lecturers, teachers, and students in the field of Islamic Education. JRTIE also welcomes contributions from scholars exploring Islamic Education from diverse perspectives, including but not limited to philosophy, law, economics, arts and culture, and language.

JRTIE (e-ISSN 2622-5263 & p-ISSN 2622-8203) is published twice a year, covering the periods of January–June and July–December. The inaugural issue was published in August 2018 (Vol. 1, No. 1). JRTIE is an open-access journal. Users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite the articles without prior permission from the publisher or the author.
