Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Islamic Law applies the following publication fees:

  • Article Submission: Free of Charge
  • Standard Article Processing Charge (APC): USD 700
  • Optional Fast Track Peer Review: USD 1,400

There is no charge for manuscript submission.

The Standard Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 700 is payable only after a manuscript has completed the editorial and peer-review processes and has been accepted for publication.

Authors may request the Fast Track Peer Review service upon submission. This optional service provides priority handling throughout the editorial and peer-review processes, while maintaining the journal's standard editorial policies, peer-review procedures, and publication ethics. The Fast Track Peer Review fee is USD 1,400 and is payable only if the manuscript is accepted for publication.

The Fast Track Peer Review service does not guarantee acceptance, a favorable peer-review outcome, or publication within a specific timeframe. All manuscripts, whether submitted through the standard or Fast Track route, are evaluated according to the same editorial standards and double-blind peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript's scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope, regardless of the author's ability or willingness to pay any fee.

Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
