Journal History

The Journal of Research and Thought on Islamic Education (JRTIE) was established on July 10, 2018. It is managed and published by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK), State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Pontianak. JRTIE serves as a platform for the dissemination of scholarly thoughts and research by lecturers, teachers, and students in the field of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), encompassing formal, informal, and non-formal education contexts.

JRTIE also welcomes contributions from scholars exploring Islamic Religious Education from diverse perspectives, including but not limited to philosophy, law, economics, arts and culture, and language. The journal is published biannually, covering the periods of January–June and July–December. The inaugural issue was published in August 2018 (Vol. 1, No. 1).

JRTIE is an open-access journal. Users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or cite the articles without prior permission from the publisher or the author.
