Al-Aqad: Journal of Shariah Economic Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Shariah Economic Law Study Program, Faculty of Shariah, IAIN Pontianak. The journal is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality research on Islamic law and sharia economics, with a particular focus on the legal dimensions of business transactions, Islamic financial institutions, and contemporary economic practices. It promotes doctrinal and socio-legal scholarship that critically examines how Sharia economic law is interpreted, formalized, and applied within various institutional and transactional contexts. The journal welcomes contributions from academics, legal practitioners, and Sharia economic experts employing normative, empirical, and interdisciplinary approaches.
